Sustainable Global Cities Engineering is an open online course and eTextbook that focuses on urban development at a global level and applying sustainable engineering principles in contexts as diverse as Canadian and African cities.

Students will be able to understand the context for urbanization in global, Canadian, and African cities, interpret the challenges with rapid urbanization and the implications for sustainability and particularly climate change, discuss sustainable design theories and the roles that engineers
